Welcome to the BIPOC Cultural Association of Northern Alberta (BCANA) is a newly formed non-profit organization that seeks to promote unity, diversity, respect, fairness, and inclusivity within the community. The organization is dedicated to serving the Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities in the Northern Alberta region. trends, news, and more.

The formation of BCANA comes at a time when there is an increasing need for a safe and supportive space for BIPOC individuals in Northern Alberta. The organization is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive community that celebrates the diversity of its members. It aims to promote cultural awareness and education, foster relationships among members, and build a stronger, more united community.


The mission of BCANA is to provide a platform for BIPOC individuals to connect, share experiences, and support one another. The organization also aims to advocate for social justice, equity, and inclusion for all members of the community. It believes that by working together, the BIPOC community can create positive change and make a difference in Northern Alberta.


BCANA’s vision is to be a community that fosters respect, acceptance, and inclusivity for all BIPOC individuals. It seeks to empower its members by providing resources and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
